    You have left! (?) (thinking…)
How important is this to you?

Examples of eCommerce site that address and deal with the issue of different stock availability per variant are marksandspencer.com and johnlewis.com. In the former case they use a dropdown to allow the user to select the variant and this incorporates stock availability information.

In the latter case they use a grid showing availablity per variant (Available, Limited Stock, Unavailable).

However at Teaser-level I don't think it is possible/logical to show stock availability for products that have advanced options as the availability will vary depending upon the availability of the individual options.

    Hi Lee,

    No not really.

    Example:

If an item is "In Stock" then we may wish to display something like "Despatched within 1 working day" but if it is "Out of Stock" we may wish to display "Despatched within 10 working days". From our perpective the thing that is important to the customer is how quickly they will receive thier goods and this period will differ depending upon whether or not we have local stock to-hand.
