This is already a planned addition to the V3 product editor.
Once complete the product editor will use an AJAX uploader allowing multiple file selection and upload.
In addition, it is already possible to upload multiple images to products using the Content Uploader in V3 with a ZIP file.

This would be very handy, if the stock & price columns were updatable, when you do a category search when in the product manager

Please can this be done sooner than later
We have had quite a few where they have entered their email address incorrectly, and not put a phone no.
not just that if the customer is from abroad, you don't want to be calling them up if you don't have to

Yes please, I know it may annoy a customer, but will help prevent submission errors.
This way they are sure to receive the order confirmation email, & we can get in touch properly if there is an issue with their order.Anonymous

Another idea for adding photos,
when you create a speadsheet to do a product data feed upload (now called import products on V3) you can have a column to point to a URL for an image.
If you had an online folder you could add images to, just by uploading, then you would have your own URL setup for your own images.
or
you could also add them individually
where you add a photo on an individual product have a 2nd browse button that browses the online photo folder
hope this all makes sense
and if its easily doable, would be grateful if this feature could be added
